VA - Whom the Moon a Nightsong Sings (2010)

I usually avoid VA albums but this is unmissable. WTMANS is a well compiled collection of neofolk and nordic ambient tracks. Quiet and primarily acoustic, perfect for mind voyages or OSTing Dark Souls or Elder Scrolls. Featured artists: Vàli, Nest, Empyrium, Nebelung, October Falls, Ainulindale, Les Discrets, Musk Ox, Havnatt, Dornenreich, Nhor, Ulver, Neun Welten, Tenhi, Bauda, Orplid, Nucleus Torn, Lonndom, Syven.

Mysteriously familiar

Celestial Bloodshed - Cursed, Scarred, and Forever Possessed (2008)

Grim and frostbitten epic True Norwegian Black Metal™. Your perfect companion in the bitter cold outdoors. Fantastic record from start to finish and rich in riffsosphere. Vocalist Steingrim Torson was allegedly accidentally shot by his best friend.

Aes Dana - Pollen (2012)

Fantastic loopy nighttime psybient. Perfect for studying/working, background and attentive listening, vibing, housepartying, fucking and pretty much at any setting and volume. This was my introduction to the wonderful discography of Aes Dana and I owe sharing it to YOU.

Toby Driver - Madonnawhore (2017)

A mastermind behind Kayo Dot, Maudlin of the Well, Asva and others, Toby Driver's Madonnawhore is a beautiful quiet journey of lush guitars and emotive vocals. Amazing album especially when it sinks in. Would highly recommend Toby Driver live as well.
